School of Economics and Management Faculty Showcases Teaching Innovation and Curriculum Reform Achievements During Teaching Innovation Month

In response to the call of the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Education to carry out the second Teaching and Learning Exhibition and Exchange Activity of 2024 for the construction of undergraduate classrooms in Shanghai Universities, as well as the school's continuous demand for improving teaching quality, the School of Economics and Management actively participated in the activities of Teaching and Learning Innovation Month organized by the school in April. Prof. Meng Qi and Prof. Zhuo Demonstrated the forward-looking achievements in teaching methods and curriculum system reform in the teaching innovation experience shared activities on April 10th and April 24th respectively.

In the first session on April 10, Professor Meng Qi shared her 20 years of reform and innovation in the course"Logistics Regulations". Prof. Meng Qi introduced the features and innovations of the course in detail, including the updating of the teaching concept, the design of the teaching program, and the significant improvement of the teaching effect. In particular, she introduced the "mock court" teaching case, which greatly enhanced students' practical ability and legal literacy, and was widely praised by teachers and students.

In the second session on April 24, Prof.Wuyang Zhuo demonstrated how to systematically improve the theoretical curriculum and practical teaching mode of the Credit Management program, focusing on the theme of "Reconstructing Credit Management CurriculumSystem with Digital Literacy and Skills". Prof. Zhuo Wuyang's presentation covered the systematic improvement of the theoretical curriculum and practical teaching mode, as well as how to effectively enhance students' digital literacy in the curriculum to meet the needs of the digital era.

These two sessions attracted more than 50 faculty members of our college and promoted in-depth discussions on teaching methods and content. The School of Economics and Management will continue to promote teaching innovation and is committed to cultivating highly qualified talents who can meet the needs of the times.
